The successful candidate will become the foremost authority on the recommended use of company Diabetes Care injection products across all customer segments including; Hospitals, Pharmacies, Diabetes Education Centres, Long Term Care, and home users. This role will also take the lead in the area of education and training and will help to develop and communicate best practices around injection technique for both internal and external customers. Some of the key responsibilities include: Work in conjunction with the Marketing Manager to develop a long-term clinical education plan designed to help company fulfill its goal of becoming 'injection experts'. Support the launch of new company products by providing clinical expertise in the pre-launch planning process and by leading clinical education and product training efforts in the field post-launch. Provide clinical education expertise and support to the Diabetes Care sales team in the field. Includes customer visits and clinical education presentations to assist with key initiatives and projects. Reviews and keeps current all company healthcare professionals and patient education materials. Works closely with the Marketing team for the development of all future materials, as needed. Create and manage a company Health Care Professional Advisory Board to gain valuable insights and uncover opportunities where company can provide value-added services. Build relationships with CHE managers working for company's strategic industry partners and develop and execute shared education events and initiatives where appropriate. |
| Requirements: | 5+ years of Diabetes education experience (C.D.E., R.N. preferred) A thorough understanding of the latest Diabetes treatment trends, especially in the area of insulin injection therapy Strong presentation skills combined with a passion for education and learning Bilingual (English/French) Working knowledge of Excel, Lotus Notes and PowerPoint Willingness to travel as required to support key education initiatives, and to attend diabetes conferences and trade shows This role offers the successful candidate a dynamic environment with full benefits and a very stable company.
