The Merchandising associate is required to spend 40 hours per week in stores and some weekend work will be involved. Compensation includes salary plus a performance incentive plan, a company-provided automobile and participation in our company benefits plan. Occasional overnight travel will be required. Some of your responsibilites will include: •Work with sales associates and other store staff to support paint and stain merchandising programs at key account retail outlets •Understand consumer project needs and sell the supporting products •Train and motivate key account associates to sell company product •Review in-store stock levels and order replacement product where necessary •Maintain and order merchandising materials •Implement programs to increase sales to client's commercial customers •Participate in Grand Opening, Training Workshops, and other customer events |
| Requirements: | •Strong interpersonal and presentation skills •Ability to work independently and as part of a team •Comfortable in a highly executional role, implementing merchandising and sales activities as communicated by the leadership team •Organizational and time management skills •Problem solving abilities •Attention to detail •Post Secondary Education in related field •1 - 2 years of retail sales experience would be an asset •Valid Driver's License Please respond to zag@careerconnectionsinc.com with the title "Merchandising Associate" in the subject line.
